AI estimates rely on cost databases and equipment parameters. Supplier pricing, production scheduling, waste, and special processing can affect the final transaction price, so sales and production personnel should review it before confirming the price externally. Samples should also be produced before mass production to verify color and downstream processing performance.
A tight budget is not the problem; the problem is not knowing where the money is going or what will be affected by cutting it. In essence, recommending a process based on the budget with AI makes the trade-offs for every dollar spent visible.
